Molybdenum Oxide Functional Passivation of Aluminum Dimers for Enhancing Optical-Field and Environmental Stability

چکیده

In this contribution, we present an experimental and numerical study on the coating of Al plasmonic nanostructures through a conformal layer high-refractive-index molybdenum oxide. The investigated structures are closely coupled nanodisks where observe that effect thin is to help gap narrowing down sub-5-nm range, large electromagnetic field enhancement confinement can be achieved. solution represents alternative more complex challenging lithographic approaches, results also advantageous for enhancing long-term stability aluminum nanostructures.
